Check out the "content aware" features; fill, move and patch tools. I find I use these all the time, and while there are limitations and things that they can't do, they never cease to amaze me with what can be accomplished. They have become my "go to" too; in many situations.

Manfred,
The Content Aware Fill in previous Photoshop Programs was, I think, superior to the Content Aware Brush in PSE10. At least, I did a better job when I worked with the Photoshop CS5 Content Aware Fill than when I tried working with the PSE10 Content Aware brush.
The RAW capability of CS6 seems better than previous issues...
