    Have a seat.

I just returned from a trip to Iceland and wanted to share the strangest scene I have ever come upon. Trust me that this is not typical of Iceland.

Please feel free to provide your own caption.

    Have a seat.

Thanks for sharing this odd scene

    Some sort of "art" statement?

Brilliant! Reminds me of a desert 'restroom' I found a few years back:

I have no idea. A local told me that he wonders if someone put the toilet there to humor the tourists. I assume someone turned on the water and couldn't get it turned off. Nobody (including me) is anxious to step into the water and mud to turn it off.

Sheesh, Phil! Maybe we should start a collection of images of this type.

Your image reminds me of a scene in Morocco that I completely botched by overexposing it on slide film. It was a barren desert and a pipe sticking up that was gushing water as if it was a fire hydrant. The irony of the badly needed water being so wasted would have made a great image if I had executed it properly.

Mike, the great thing about the image is that it poses all sorts of questions. It makes you think that someone must have taken a lot of time and effort to get it there? I wonder why?

    Cheers for now

Guess "Full Service" would be close enough

Perhaps Eugen's caption, "Full Service," is even more appropriate for this image. Though I don't like it quite as much as the first one, it does tell the, ahem, full story.

I just have to remind everyone here that it is you who suggested that we stop the toilet humor.

Lovely, it looks as though they have built a spectator area as well, is this a new event for the next olympics?!

    Cheers for now

This is awesome. I have no words for it. Phil's version also.
