    A nice get away

    Hello all,

The following image is of the Pisa Resort - Cromwell, NZ. Its a small resort (with its own lagoon) located on the edge of lake Dunstan.

Good colours and reflection. I like it. What is an ED80?

    Hello Carregwen,

The Orion ED80 is a refracting telescope. It has a 80mm objective lens, focal length of 600mm and a focal ratio of 7.5. It can be used for either prime focus or a-focal photography.

    Hi Rodney,

    Does it flood there often?
Still at least the owners got their cars out in time

I guess the observation I'm making is there is very little to show it isn't a flodded street.

Nice picture though, with some interesting looking scenery in the far background.

It looks like it would make a good HDR shot though as the dynamic range seems to have exceeded what the camera can deliver

    I like the composition,

Very interesting Dave, I had not looked at it like that. The photo on there website does have a boat parked at the jetty under one of the units.

It sounds like a good reason to buy a boat. Now if I can just talk the wife into it.
"Honey, I need to buy a boat to complete this photo"
