    Spring on the way

Hi everyone, Haven't posted for a while. Been tied up with work and boring stuff
Spring is upon us here and the swallows have just returned to nest in our carport.
Thought I would post the progress of the Tulips about to bloom in our front garden.

    Spring on the way

    Spring on the way

    More to come.
    Cheers Greg

You haven't been away for too long Greg, but it's still nice to see you back posting.

That's a nice light on the droplets and I like the simplicity of the second one.

    Starting to get interesting now.
Here are a couple of shots from the last few mornings.
Put a black backdrop behind the flower to isolate it from the brickwork behind.

    Spring on the way

Ps, Cheated a bit. There was no morning dew when these shots were taken, so I made some with a water mist bottle to add a bit of interest
    Cheers, Greg

The black backdrop certainly does improve it. And I think it quite legitimate to put some water droplets on to help the effect.

    Thanks Donald,
Looked out at them just before it got dark tonight and noticed some yellow starting to show through so I'm hoping tomorrow is clear to get some nice morning light.

A couple from this morning. Used a bit of fill flash with the first one.
Don't know what the blue flower is, just looked cute so I got a shot as the first morning light reached it.

Maybe Grape Hyacinth will suit you for the blue one?
