    Superb light!

    #1 is an obvious favourite but I'm interested in #2 compared with #4. I assume you waited around for the light to change? I have a funny feeling faced with the same scene I might have packed up when so much of it was in shadow but it has made an excellent shot.

    Although #2 looks to be tilted to the right (as Dave Humphries would say, the reflections don't line up), to me it has the best composition as the man-made concrete of the bridge doesn't impact the natural look of the trees quite as much.

    This would be true if the bridge crossed the Canal at right angles ... but it doesn't ...
