Vacation Pictures- Set 2: On the road

Hi. Following with my vacation series, here is the set #2. They are some shots I took while travelling, during breaks for refuel, coffee and leg stretching.

1 - I tried to make a center line between the stop lane and the grass, as if they were, together, composing a "second road". Not sure if it works though...

2 - The background is a corn field after harvest, sun about to rise.

3 - Some moriche palms, behind a small lake. This one was taken with car moving, through the window (of course I was not the driver at this moment!). It appeared a bit dark to me, so I thought it would work better in B&W.

4 - This is a flower shop at a gas station. While my wife was grabbing an ice cream, I found this and decided to shot it.

5 - Down the hill, into the jungle.

    Thanks for viewing!

    Thank YOU for sharing.
Maybe in shot no 2 you should have used a bit of a smaller aperture to get more of the light green subject in focus.
Well done Otavio. Like the tone in the B&W shots.

    Otavio,
I agree with Andre. The second picture would look better if you had used a smaller aperture (for a greater depth of field).
The B&W pictures are very interesting and resemble old photos.
I liked the pictures 1 and 4, especially the photo 1.

Many thanks, Antonio, for taking yourtime. I also agree with the DoF/Aperture issue on picture 2!

I think it does work and is a very good composition. The tree is obviously a very dominant feature and it is, I think, well positioned in the frame and acts as a good balance for the road.
