    Tim technically the image looks good - focus, DOF, clarity and exposure are all fine. I would probably reduce the highlights a bit if you have suitable pp software to tone down the decking and sky which looks a little bright to me.

    The composition certainly emphasises the length and lines of the walkway. However I wonder how it would have worked if the shot were taken closer to the lake so that you got a sense of the walkway actually leading you to something interesting. As it is you can only see a small patch of water at the end.

    Just my thoughts, others may differ !!

    Hi Tim,

    Very nice picture. I agree with Dave - you should try to reduce the highlights a little, mostly on the wet bridge. Have you tried to straighten the horizon? The shot works fine as is, just curious what it would look like straighter.
