    Finger Fashion

    Hi,

This poor one was so exhausted when I found it that it wasn't able to even fly off, it had obviously been busy as it was covered in pollen. Luckily I found it at the base of the tree where they are nesting in a hollow so I let it go as far up the trunk as I could reach.

    Cheers

A shot not be underestimated as you have to work one handed and hold the camera one handed.... not easy. Its a lovely shot and I am glad I am not the only one in the world who rescues insects. Have attached one of a dragonfly that I thought was a goner in my pool. But I fished it out, it clung on and after 15 minutes of drying it flew away.

    Hi Peter,
He is definately looking worse for wear, they are such a cool looking insect with their aviation goggles on.

    Cheers
