I have a new friend

I found this little guy in my driveway this afternoon. He (or she) was very cooperative and just sat there and let me take a series of shots. I am guessing he got into a little bit of poison in the garage hence the "Drunken Lean". He did make a full recovery though and was last seen running through the woods towards the neighbors garage.

Field Mice are too cute to be called vermin! And this guy does look a little drowsy. I love the 3rd picture! They are all clear and his eyes are in focus! Although, I'm not sure he is seeing clearly ,LOL.

Nice shots - normally you cannot even get close to one.

I would take out the slight distractions on the ground in #1.

Bobo & Gretchen, thanks for your comments. I was shocked that this little guy was just sitting there, usually I only get a glimpse as one darts behind the workbench or under the car.
