In need of more practice

Picture of my son who has just taken up golf and certainly needs more practice. I was a chance for me to capture a few shots and as you can see I need more practice with the camera. lol

I think the shot is good. It has a story to tell. Good use of DOF (Though I would suspect that the selective DOF was added on the post processing and not coming from the use of lens and aperture opening). A little tight in composing the shot at the top and at the left side but still OK. My only nit is that the processing did not help the image at all so I would certainly recommend just a straight b&w conversion or you can add a selenium tone or a good sepia tone. Nice work, John.

thanks for the feed-back, your B&W conversion does look better and you are of course correct the DOF was added in PP. (I still have a lot to learn).
