    For Antonio!!!

Finally I had some time to edit one of the pictures I took last vacation in Portugal Algarve!
A beautiful country with very nice people and lovely food and weather.
Antonio what do you think of this windmill?
Is it a typical Portuguese windmill?
    For Antonio!!!

Those soft tones work well for this scene.

Hans what a nice photo you have done
Indeed, as mentioned before by Geoff, the tones work very well in this image.

The mill is very much near how it used to be. Only the roof was more like a cone and not with that double roof if you know what I mean...

    Have you been inside ?
What is it's use at the moment ?
Near me - 7 kilometers away - they still transform grain in powder and make traditional bread. It is called Moinhos Vivos it means Mills alive.
If you are using Chrome you will be able to read the contents in your own language, Dutch.
There are many - many - mill in ruins and some are completely gone.

I am happy you liked Portuguese people. They are all good people but very - too much - peaceful.

Thank you for remembering me Hans !

    Hi Antonio,

    Sorry for the late reply.

We we not able to go inside. The guide told us it is not in use anymore. It was "in the middle of nowhere". No village close to it. We have seen lots of Cork trees around.
I noticed that the herbs and fruits growing anywhere are really used by the people it and they have their own grow garden to get the vegetables and fruits. Only for pasta, bread an salt they have to go to the shops. At least that is what the guide told us.
