Canon 30D, Canon 300mm +1.4x, 1/125 @ f5.6, ISO 200 (altered in Fractilius Photoshop filter plug-in)

Nice exposure, saturation and sharpness. Would like to see a full res version up close and personal. Image #1 Would make a nice printed/framed image . Well done

Kevin, since I have not posted much until recently in this most interesting website, I have noticed that some of my images tend to lose resolution from thier original tif format. You are correct, in 16 bit tif this Sunflower has better detail and color depth. I posted the second Sunflower so that viewers could see the before and after result. This was a series I photographed of this Sunflower to test a new lens. In this view I clipped some of the petals which is a no no but I have identical images without the clipping, but seeing one Sunflower is seeing them all.
