    Kobe B&W

I have been dabbling in B&W conversions of a few photos lately. What do you think of this one?

Brian, I like this shpt but, I think that it might benefit fro a closer cropping which could turn it into a head and shoulders portrait. The arms and knees compete for my attention with his face.

Hi Richard, thanks for your input! I thought about cropping much more as you suggest, and I may still try that, but I decided to include the denim and t-shirt elements because they make the image a little less formal, or at least I think so

Brian, I love he effect of the darkness and the use of the light. I could see why it would be tempting to crop but for me it is a very nice portrait and the best I have seen you post to date. I like the way you keep trying different things. That is the only way to improve and you are forever improving.
