These are your daughter and her boy friend. Right ?

I don't think the tree is overpowering. I even think that the composition is better than the other one which is not a SCP and where she is.

But, but ... is the pictures leveled ? I mean the horizon isn't it a bit twisted ?

I light the colored filter you used.

    No, just strangers, no relation.

Darn it, I straightened that horizon once!
I think it must have reset when I chose the square crop

    Here's one that is level
Posing for a photo, two in fact, (if they only knew it)

    Fine now !
Next week I am going to Algarve and I will be staying in a hotel just by the beach.
I'll see what I can get.

    Thanks Antonio,

A west facing beach helps with the sunsets

    Cheers,

I think I will not have such an orientation.
The beach is facing South - I am sure - but I think and I have been there before, there are some rocks hiding the Sunset.

    Dave

i really like these. Number 1 is the best of the set for me but personally I would take the electronic chainsaw to the tree at the right. I think it would give the image a much cleaner appearance. No 3 is also a classic but I would be tempted to go for the same shade of orange as the rest. You have certainly mastered that lens it appears sharper than my Canon 28-200 USM.

    Thanks Steve,

It's odd how that one colour works and others don't.

Here's another, I could literally see this shot coming, and so I took several as they crossed the beach, this is probably the best for composition, posture, etc.

Natural colour on the airbed, colour removed from the rest.
