Monthly Photo Challenge Voting Poll

Hi Folks,

I'd like your opinion on a couple of things ...

First, I've created a quick poll on the length of the voting window - I'd very much appreciate as many of you as possible popping a response into it.

Second, I'd like to send all those who are interested a reminder PM when voting opens (that you'll be able to just reply to to vote, making it even easier). If you'd like to be added to that list, just drop a reply here, or send me a PM.

I'd like to sign up for the PM in order to vote. Apologies for not participating (posting or voting) in the July Challenge - hols in the South of France and a hectic return to work are responsible.

The Tour de France passed by the place where we were staying, so that offered a whole new experience and opportunity for me. Don't think there's anything that really deserves posting on here, but am still working through them.

I like the notification idea too.

I was thinking if there was a possibility of getting email notifications (optional so that we can turn it off or on) when people leave comments on our posts and/or when the thread is updated. Something like Facebook!

I would like a notification too! July was super busy for me..work and personal life... July just seemed to disappear.

If you go to 'My Settings' and then to 'Options' on the left hand side of that page, the second box includes 'Default Thread Subscription Mode', which you can set to receive email notification of replies to threads.

Or you could choose that option on a thread by thread basis, under the reply box whether you're using the advanced or quick reply option.

Thanks! I will try it now, but I suspect this has to be done separately for each thread. Would be nice if we could set it once for all threads we commented on or started.
