Nostalgic view of Lady Liberty

This image was captured in June 2000 on color slide film looking through a window from inside the Great Hall of Ellis Island. I converted it today. My grandfather had to have been in this hall and could have noticed the same scene when he, as a young child, emigrated to the U. S. from Italy.

Does this crop work better for you, Muriel? If I settled on it, I would need to start over with the post-processing, as I added grain to the original that becomes a bit too much for me when viewed at this magnification.

Nice shot. The funny thing about it is the window reminds me of a Japanese flag.
