Thanks Yan,
I'm not quite sure why it works, but it seems to all the same. Personally though, I like your tree shot better!

I just hope it doesn't look too suspicious! (we really need someone else to count the votes when I've got something entered).

I can count them for you if you need help but will charge regular visit fee (Just kidding) :p
And it looks too suspicious; hmmmm, why would someone who knows almost everything about photography from optics to engineering to electronics to softwares to lighting to processing to a lot of other stuff be high on the list so consistently?
Re: RESULTS: Photo Challenge for July 2009
Congratulations to all!
Colin, your winning photo deserves 1st place without question, the photo's you post on here are superb in my opinion and I find that they give me, and probably many other forum members the determination to produce something that can equal your work, and if not equal, then certainly use you work as an inspiration to get out and try out new ideas.
I have not posted anything in the last couple of comps, but I will hopefully have something for the next one, I need to improve on my 3rd placings.:D

Hi Ricko,
At the end of the month I temporarily remove all of the posts in the challenge threads that don't have images in them - lock the thread - and then create a new thread inviting people to send me a PM stating the post number of their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices. Last month I also created a site-wide announcement that appeared at the top of every forum ...
... but, voting only stays open for 24 hours (perhaps that should be extended by another day) - so if you happen to not check in for that 24 hour period, you'll miss it.

I agree, I think the quality of your work puts it/you beyond suspicion, now if I were doing the counting and had pics in, I'd be tempted - I need all the help I can get! (Just kidding) ;)
If I had managed to vote this time (I missed the window again), you'd have got at least one more vote from me, mind you, so would Yan! I started but (unusally) FF froze on me, so I left until the next day (alas too late). I have already voted in the poll for 48 hours.
