    Grandma's dog

    Grandma's dog

This was a candid shot, but I keep thinking about how I could light those eyes if I tried to. I'm starting to learn some flash technique from strobist.blogspot.ca so it's even more on my mind lately.

This is a very nice photo. A flash would have been bad for the eyes, giving a ghostly, possessed look. I like it the way it is. By the way, this looks like my dog, Rowdy.

    Re: Grandma's dog

on another site I received three comments, one saying it's too dark, the other saying it's too bright, and a third saying it's "boring." Would it be egotistical to say those aren't very good critiques? :P
