Re: Eastern Box Turtle
Nice shots. Great shallow depth of field. I brought one of these home off of a road for my little girls to look at for a minute, then drove it back and released it in a safer spot nearby. Now they always run out and ask if I have a turtle in the car when I come home from work.

Re: Eastern Box Turtle
Thanks! Still getting used to controlling DOF with that little lens. Really fun.
Thanks,

Re: Eastern Box Turtle
Great shot Sean, seems to me that you have a pretty good grasp of the DOF control Great focus on the eye.
Cheers

Re: Eastern Box Turtle
I especially like #3 because of the light, the pose, the color, and the turtle's environment.

Re: Eastern Box Turtle
Hi Sean,
#3 for me too (for 'pose'), but closely followed by #1; for the simpler composition (without grass distractions) and complimentary colours of turtle and sand.
