    Awesome Fun

I haven't posted on this forum in awhile but I wanted to share this shot I took at the beach the other day. I was pretty nervous about my camera being damaged by the salt, sand & moisture so I had it taped up in a ziploc.

    Hi Pat,

Great to have an ex-pat (bad attempt at humour!) back and posting with us!

Photo looks great - just needs a little more sharpening. What post-processing did you do on it?

    Hi Pat,

Good action shot - and welcome back.

If you go back in for a sharpen, might I suggest you consider cloning out the two dark distracting things at top edge of frame in left background?

    Cheers,

Actually, all I did was give it a little crop. I don't have a very good pp program. All I can really do is adjust exposure & contrast. The photo has a slight blur but I am helpless to fix it.

Thanks for the suggestion! It's amazing what an amatuer doesn't notice. I completely overlooked that. The beach was very busy that day and the distraction is most likely people in the background.

Thanks also for the warm welcome back.
