Happy Meal On The Beach ( 9 pictures total)

The flock of nesting Black Skimmers that I've been going to see the past couple of weeks is starting to have the babies hatching. Here is a set of a baby being fed. The quality is not as good as I would like and when this started happening in front of me, I just started snapping away hopping to get some good ones. It took this little guy about 5 minutes to get this fish down and these were some of the better captures of the event.

A darling story. Well done! I love number 3. Not only did you present good photos - good evening sun, well composed, tack-sharp focus, but you taught the viewer about how chicks are fed: whole fish! Your patience paid off!

Yup 3 is it.

Nice shots overall. Have you considered lightening them up a bit. Appear a shade too dark but could be my monitor.

and Thanks Bobo, the only PP I did was a crop and add a little vibrance to make the orange pop a little more. I found when I lightened them up I was losing detail of the chick so I left them like they are now.

Yes that could present some problems especially as the sand and chick are almost the same colour. At least you tried.
