    Beautiful image. My only suggestion would be to crop a little off the right hand side. I realize that you want the flowers off center, but I think there is a bit too much empty space.

    Some people like to work strictly to the Rule of Thirds while others are more relaxed about composition.

    Personally, Dan, I would do the same as you. But it all comes down to personal tastes.

    Another point that seems to have a bit more widespread acceptance is the use of an odd number of subjects. Some folks would prefer either one or three blossoms in a situation like this but it really comes down to personal taste.

    You might want to experiment with several layouts of the blossoms to see what YOU really like best. For example, what if the two blossoms were not at the same height in the image? What if one was perhaps 30% higher (or lower) than the other?
