Taken yesterday. Psuedo HDR with single exposure processed with Photomatix and selecting Black and white pre- option. Bit of a crop. No sharpening added. Tried LCE which was a disaster! Converted this 'bad' to even "badder!" So sent that one to trash. Maybe this one should have followed! :)

Ken - I like how the trees look in this, but, fro me, the sky's a bit overcooked. If there some way with that software, to keep the trees as they are but dial back a bit on the sky (if you wanted to)?

Would like to see it in colour.
It's a bit dark and gloomy for me.

Thank you for feed back Dave and Greg. It was pretty gloomy and dark due to storm approach. However in view of your comments I went back to ACDsee and PS. Is this more acceptable?:)

I like that it has brought a little more detail in the tree tops, It's what you like though Ken. :)
BTW, did you notice the face in the clouds top left of the photo.
Two eyes, bridge of nose and forehead.
