    Foxy!!!

I waited for over 3 days to get this shot. Extremely difficult to capture one of these little critters. They seldom are in the open in daylight. I watched them this morning for over 2 hours in near darkness, praying for enough light to get a few shot. I finally got this one at iso 1250 and 1/60s , shooting freehand bracing the camera on my knees. 1/60s, isn't much when shooting 420mm. Going to try again in the morning.................................

Steve brilliant shot, this works really well and is my kind of image, nice colour and good blurring in background.
These are really hard to find and photograph stood still, so well done for that.
Also very steady shot if i read it right...hand held at 420mm?.
Whats your location steve, it would be nice to know where you are.

Am I jealous, yes I am!!!!!

    Great shot.

Btw if they see you often enough and you have not startled them in anyway they will become just a bit bolder and may give you the chance of even better shots.

Thank you glenn, you read it right. 420mm (with image stabilization) hand held at 1/60s. (it only took me 200 shots to ge 3 or 4 good one's.)

    I'm from Wheeling, West Virginia.

A little background on the shot...............................A friend told me he had 5 kits under his backyard shed. Said they run around the yard every morning. Little did i know they won't give you a shot in good lighting.

Thanks bobo. They do become bolder after awhile, but usually go to the den, before good lighting presents itself.
