Frank - How were these lit?

I like the atmosphere created in the second one. although the top of the barrel creeping in at the bottom left is a nuisance. You were obviously working in quite a tight space.

Yes, that barrel bothered me as well but when I cropped higher I felt that I lost too much of the floor to properly support the barrels on the right. I could have/should have cloned it out and dropped the crop a bit lower but there are days when I'm just plain lazy and without any excuse for being lazy!

As almost all of my images, these are totally available light, mostly daylight from large open doorways in this case.

Thank you for viewing and commenting, Donald!

    Hi Frank,

I think you can be forgiven occasionally

You have certainly done some good basic processing on these, the clarity of all are great, given the directional and probably quite contrasty lighting in there.

    I did guess natural light

    Cheers,

Thanks Dave. Now I'm more embarrassed than lazy! LOL!

I went back and got rid of both the LH barrel and the building frame beside it that I wasn’t crazy about. Now I can better show the floor so that the barrels on the right have something to sit on!

Hopefully this will be more appropriate.
