    Flash 1/2 power bounced off a white card.

    The light was really flat, with almost no shadow detail. So, i used the flash to create more shadow detail , by using it in the same direction as the natural light.

    I really like the use of the leaves in the composition here Steve. Nice work.

    Thanks guy's. This one is my favorite of the white background series. Finding it very difficult to get a consistant color of the background.

    Truthfully..the head looks a little small and the background stark so it seems 'superimposed,'

    A square crop and losing the lower leaves would help. There is more leaf than rose as it is.
