Excellent in my opinion.
Very good Jim,
Did you lay in wait near the bloom or follow BiF (it's a semi-serious question)?
Pre-focussed?
Thanks,
Nice pic..I Beeleive you guys might like these too...:):)
Thats amaizing!
Thanks for the comments.Dave,I pre-focused on the flower and waited for something to come by.
Thanks Jim,
Yes; I must give this a go myself sometime, I bought the remote release, but haven't used it yet :o
I'm thinking: sunny day, set up tripod looking at flower in garden, set myself up on a lounger with a beer and my finger on the button ;)
Hard work this photography lark
Lovely shooting Jim. Nice DoF too. That lens is pretty sharp for a zoom, which model is it?
Thank you. It's the 100-400 IS.The 400 end is a little soft at 5.6,but the photos sharpen nicely.I've been shooting with it a lot the past month trying to learn the ins and outs of the lens. The more I use it the more I like it.
Jim
Dave,
Thumbs up on the lounger and cold beer:cool:
Jim
Kevin,
I really like the cactus flower shot.
