This photo was taken from 6ft of the croc behind a wire fence. As I am a novice photographer I would appreciate some comments please

Hi Andrew, glad you were behind a fence.
the shot is nicely in focus, teeth, eyes and good detail of the skin, it is quite difficult when you have dappled sunlight to get an even exposure, a little blown out on the nose, I would like to see a little more room around the croc, leg on the right and top of the head are cut off. The overall colour is good, no wire lines,
well done, (don't think it has seen a dentist for a while)

Nice shot Andrew, but I don't think I'd want to be that 'up close and personal' with this meat lover!

    Never smile at a crocodile,
no, you can't get friendly with a crocodile.
Don't be taken in by his welcome grin.
He's imagining how well you'd fit within his skin!

Hi Andrew a good effort under difficult lighting and I echo Wendy's comments. Personally I'd like to see a bit more detail in the eyes and maybe lifting the image up to get rid of the shadow at the bottom under the chin and put more room at the top.
