I like what you have done Farham especially in the top shot. The only comment is that the foreground light is a bit too harsh when compared to your skyline which is soft. You have obviously used a long exposure so maybe experiment with some softer light source.
Hi Farhan, what is your goal for these night photography images and how have you attempted to accomplish that goal?
Are you trying to make night look like day by using only moon and star light? If so, then as Wayne indicates, the foreground is overexposed.
Because the foreground is overexposed but the background is not, I suspect that some form of additional lighting was used along with a long exposure to blur the water. For an artistic rendering this could work, but if you want a realistic image, the lighting needs to be changed.
I also like the top shot but agree that the foreground is too bright. what did you use for a light source?
I was trying to put this shot in the water to the farthest extent possible with front lighting at work
I Used here Outdoor Lighting which is a light bulb light.
It was an attempt and I'm satisfied with result some how.
Hi Farlam, you should be satisfied as it shows great initiative and wonderful composition. But dont let that stop you trying to perfect the shot. A softer foreground would improve this and perfect it. A filter over the globe such as trace paper or even cotton wool may be worth experimenting. Well done.
