    Another hovering bird....todays Osprey

Watched this guy come in and check the pond over real good but there really is not much in the way of fish so no dive. I did the best I could trying to fit all 8 shots in one and to keep the sky constant. I also wanted to keep a directional flow. The birds are not placed quite as pretty as the Kingfisher one I did but it had half the shots. Much easier. C&C always welcome.

Cool pp but maybe the last 3 should be taken out to make the rising up a bit more dramatic?

Hi Paul, I agree with Bobo...take out the last three. Also I would place them beginning it the lower left corner diagonally to the upper right corner with the hovering Osprey the last. Great captures, good detail it just looks a little cluttered to me. Keep shooting my friend.

Hi Paul, I really like the arangement as it is. I can see the clearly defined progression in sequence from point where the Osprey rises up to look for prey to the point where he launches into the dive. A very nice arrangement IMHO.

Paul, that's a sweet composite! I am so glad to see the osprey are back. I just saw my first last week in Kent. Anyway, I like the composite just the way it is. But, if I were to tweak it slightly, I might remove the outermost two images... the ones in the lower left and right corners. Either that, or I would keep them and expand the canvas so that the margin around the corner images is the same as the uppermost image.

Thanks for the input guys, it does seem a little cluttered. I am trying to show the full cycle so if possible I will keep all the poses, although a little play with the arrangement is surely in order. All good points or ideas and some good insight to mull over in the proscess. Thanks again.

Hi Paul, I agree with Frank, the arrangement allows us to see what the osprey was up to, good pp.

LOL! If he's not careful, he'll cook more than just the fish!
