My grey card keeps saying 6250K tint 28, I take a lot of readings but all have a yellow cast

Hi Steve, can't comment on the yellow cast, they all look fine to me.

I love the first one, but would it be possible to clone out the light streak top right?

I also like the second last shot with the daffodils and whatever the red thing on the post is. Did you do an Orton effect or some other special processing on that one.

    Nice work

Sure is; I don't know how I miss these things, maybe it is because I'm in too much of a rush, I've still got lots to do. The second to last had a 100% pin light layer over multiply with Gaussian blur, since Pin Light preserves the blur I suppose it could be called Orton.

Cheers Wendy; I think the orange thing is a life belt or something, probably empty though.

I corrected the yellow cast by using auto Wendy. I wonder if I'm doing it wrong since I was laying the card flat on the top of a bench or hedge.

Found one where I used my monopod and the card pretty much vertical giving 5750K and more normal color.

The bell and the lifebelt are the images that grab the (my) attention most in this set. Both are, I think, very good images. Both good, strong compositions and that makes them jump out.

I don't know what the importance is, Steve, but I always seek to have my WhiBal card straight on and square to the lens and not leaning at an angle from it. Don't know if it makes a difference, just seems the right thing to do.
