    Triangulation

Why it is so hard to sneek up on a whitetail. They usually bed with their back to the wind.(wind was blowing from left to right) That way they can smell what they can't see , and see what they can't smell. And when in a group, they cover each others back, by facing different directions...................................

Thanks john. No gilly suit, just a few of my friends. On occation , we seem to have an understanding and i'm accepted to the group. As long as i stay 20 yards away and move very slow, they will allow me to follow along as they feed, or just sit down with them.
