    The Guard Cat

    I don't often take pictures of dogs and cats but this one, living amongst the ruins, had such an intent look on his/her face that I had to find out if a half-way decent image could be captured.

    I do. You have got it beautifully sharp. Very easy to over-sharpen something like this.

    Thank you Donald. One of my goals is to get images razor sharp where they should be sharp and effective DoF where there should be bokeh. Oversharpening can be a fine line that is easily crossed when you get the slightest bit careless. Even then, I get the feeling that some folks aren't comfortable with really sharp images and tend to feel that there is something wrong with them.
