    Good capture Jack, great exposure and focus.

    Like a lot of your shots, it would benefit from some PP, in this case levelling and cloning mainly.

    Nice image Jack, really sharp. As Dave has mentioned straighten plus I'd remove the grass/reed on the right and maybe crop out a bit of the water on the right as well as to me it's wasted space.

    Nice one Jack. I am in agreement with Dave and Clive. Not really much to add. I enjoy shooting the Herons. While there are a few around through out the year, we are getting to the best part of the season. The rookery down the street from me is full of about 60-70 but the rookery 1hr north of me is said to hold well over 1000. I believe it, while hawking nearby I found a small field with a stream and no less than 6 heron. Should be a good year!
