Help required exporting pics from DPP

    hi guys,

I took a load of pics of my dog this morning, and am trying to upload them for advice on improving.

I have put a few into canon's digial photo professional software, I've trimmed them to the way I want and saved them, now when I view them in DPP they are the way I want them, but when I copy to my desktop they came out as my originals.

Can anyone help me, it's driving me mad, I know it's me that's doing something wrong, because I did it right a few weeks ago, just don't know what I'm missing.

    Regards, Glenn

    Hi Glenn,

We'd love to help you improve your photography, so hope you can get this sorted so we can see the cropped images.

I have changed the thread title to picque the interest of those that may know and made it more readable.

I don't use DPP for editing, so better that someone who knows how answers.

Could you edit your profile and pop "Glenn" into the Real Name field and a Location please?

    Many thanks,

    The next hurdle may be getting the images uploaded and displayed successfully, here are a couple of threads that may help;
HELP THREAD: How can I post images here?
HELP THREAD: Guide to posting images for comment

    Look forward to seeing them,

    Yep, Thanks Glenn.

Hmmm, "stardelta" - are you a 'sparks' or in the (electrical) supply industry?

Hopefully we can transform your photography too

    Cheers,

Have you tried 'convert and save' after doing the changes? this will give you JPEGS including the changes you made.

Otherwise you can 'save as', keep them in RAW and give them a different name. I am not too sure why you need to copy the originals to your desktop...
