    Blue Dragon Fly

I was out with my son this arvo taking a nature walk, I thought we might see a bit more bug life given the rain we have been getting. There were these blue ones and there were red/orange coloured ones as well. This is the best of the ones I have so far. I tried to get the focus right between the eyes but that was not easy as once again I did not take my tripod. Seeing as these guys were pretty abundant I think I will have another go, with my tripod this time.

    Cheers

Nice shot jason. Good colors and depth of field. It looks like a damselfly to me.

Perhaps a touch less space to the right would put more emphasis on the subject.

    Damselfly.

Excellent shot and you have the light hit it just right.

A really sharp image, Jason. It might be worth cropping in (but not too close) to see the detail better.

    Hey Frank,

Thanks, I cropped in a bit more, but not to much as you said. Didn't lose much I don't think.
