Good on you for going for it Allan.
I always think that any effort at shots like this is always going to be compared (probably almost always unfavourably) with a certain Mr Adams and what he did (e.g. this and this), so I haven't tried yet. Donald you may not believe this, but I have never looked at Ansel's work, until those two threads you included in your coments. Now I understand what you mean, I know he is considered the master of B&W, and your love of those types of images, so your words means something to me.
