    It's that hillside again!

I like when we see the three trees down at the bottom of the slope; i.e. the second of these two. That, for me, makes a better balanced and, thus, better composed image.

In these particular examples, I also prefer the colour in the second. The mist has a much more 'natural' feel to it (maybe it's just what I'm used to seeing up here on the north-western fringes of Europe)!

Very Nice! I'm not sure but I think I would like both of them better without the coloured part of the sky -especially the second one. Purely personal though, they are excellent as is, I can never help wondering what if? though

I like them both Jeff, but I think the second one is best. The colour of the mist is more natural (in the first photo it is a bit blueish) and I like the way the trees are shrouded in mist. I think the clear sky above is fine. I understand Wendy's point, but fear that just mist would make it a bit dull. And the splash of colour livens it up.

Definitely a nice location with lots of potential to get a variety of shots as you have shown. I think you will have a hard time getting a better one than you posted on Feb 23 though.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, I think #2 is my favorite as well.
