    The Hunters

I went out with some friends to hunt with their Hawks today. Just thought I would share some pretty Birds of prey. The redish bird is a Harris Hawk and the other a Goss Hawk. I hope you enjoy!

Wonderful images, Paul. You've rally nailed the focus on the eyes.

On the last one, would it be farir to clone out that part of the attachment on its back that we can see, or would that be shifting too much from the reality of the scene?

Thank you Donald. I had thought about it and am undecided. Not a big deal to clone. It is only a radio reciever and could just as easily not been visible.

    Re: The Hunters

    Thanks James and Jack.
Jack, they are not tethered, what you see are the handling straps for when they come to hand. We were out hunting with them so the poles they are perched apon were a farmers fence. I chose to shoot them there as the background was better than when they were up a tree. The Goss Hawk {the one on the pole} likes to hunt in deep cover, in under the canopy. Tough spot to get a shot on a dismall day, one more reason for the pole shot.
