That's a great composition. Very strong in contrast which I think works. Have you given it some sort of PP treatment? It seems almost too sharp, although the elephant skin lends itself to that. Nice shot.

Hi Marty, many thanks for the comments. I did do a bit of pp as it was very late afternoon light and everything was very soft. But I do love the texture of the elephant skin especially in B&W.
