    Early Morning on the Bay

Wondering if I should crop the top and left side down some?

John I think a little of the top, I like the colour on the left, so leave it and take some off the bottom. You have two docks on the right, keep the shadow of the lower dock, but crop at the base of the right pier of that dock just where the dark water starts.

Sorry I can't give you any advice on the cropping, but I do want to say what a beautiful photo you have taken!

    Allen,
Thank you for the advice, I will try your suggestions. Sometimes I just get to focused on the pictures and just don't see it. I am fairly new to taking more composed pictures. Again, thank you.

    Kathy,
Thank you for the nice comment. This was a very cold morning but I got a lot of great shots from it. I owe it to my wife who found the location for me.

It depends what width/height ratio you want, John, and whether you want to include that moon which is rather 'distant' from everything else.

I would be tempted to lose the moon and end up with a 3 x 2 or 5 x 4 ratio. Which includes a bit cropped from the bottom as Allan suggested.
