    My favorite subject

    As I continue to learn more and more about this new found hobby, I appreciate all the c&c given. This has been a wonderful site to learn from. Once again, more pics of my favorite friend. She is such a patient subject.

    I was going to suggest a shallower depth of field and then I noticed the camera you were using - I'm guessing you're probably maxed out in terms of wide open aperture - that and the smaller sensor makes it difficult to blur the background which is I think what is needed for these photos to work really well.

    Mal, I agree with you, I need a better camera. I wouuld like more blur, but yes, my current camera is maxed out. I hope to be upgrading very soon to a DSLR...I just need to figure out which one fits my needs best.
