    Chris,

That image is making my brain go crazy trying to make it work properly. How many exposures are in that? Very clever, but my brain just really rejects it.

That moon is way too sharp for the blurry lower sections to make sense.

Prefer it without the moon personally or one that does not grab all the attention.

Nice thought of doing it this way though.

One exposure, one composite...it was a spur of the moment shot, the reversal suggested by my daughter...the moon, just because...and the reflection...more because. I gave thought to more moon, sharper, etc, but it was a lot of work and it wasn' that kind of shot. But thanks!

Interesting concept Chris - it took me a little bit to figure the image was actually upside down and I was seeing reflections.

I do have a comment though - the black parts are too black for me ("pure black" I can say) and that doesn't look natural at all.

The shot is over exposed by about 6 seconds...the lights you are seeing are about a mile away across a bay. There's really nothing in the background to allow other light to enter the scene, and given it was extremely overcast, that is was going to go black was inevitable. Since it was a non-usable shot, I just had a go at playing with the image.
