A perfect matching pair, along with Gascony Sunrise

I think I prefer this to Gascony Sunrise.

Don't you just love how the same scene can look so unbelievably different at a different time, in a different season, under different weather conditions? That's what I love about landscape photography.

    Simply awesome Jeff!

Envious of the landscapes available to you! That glass looks to capture remarkable shots.

Breathtaking. I've been feeling a little photographically discouraged lately, and this very much reminds me why I love photography

    Beautiful shots Jeff,

The colours in the Gascony Sunrise are, well brilliant.

This is also a great shot, don't get me wrong, but there is one minor problem with the above shot though, on the left, towards top corner, just level with the hole, below the darkest part of clouds, there is a blurry vertical object, I guess it must be a dust bunny (of the long haired variety).

Sure wish landscapes behaved like this for me

Is this somewhere you have to go to to photograph, or are you lucky enough to live there?

    All the best,

The timing of this image is just amazing. The mist, the clouds and the sun peering through the time the mist is there to absorb it.

Fantastic mood here, in my humble opinion....if you are going to use HDR, you should aspire to results as wonderfully natural looking as this! Fantastic image, well seen caught and processed!

    All the best,
Most of my photographs are from the Hautes Pyrenees department, where I live, the nearest large city is Pau.

    Best regards
