    Had a break from the damp misty weather on sunday morning,it was a bright frosty morn and after about three and a half hours and a touch of cramp one of the kingfishers decided to make a show,

    Hi Pat, now that's a great shot. I love the placement of the bird, allowing it room to look in to the frame, and the background is gorgeous. Very well done.

    Beautiful bird. Lovely colors. Perfect d.o.f. I also like the catch light in the eye. I wish utah had more King Fishers..i've only seen a few and they are as gone as fast as lightning strikes!! Great Capture!!

    Amazing how 3.5 hours of sitting still brings luck isn't it! I can't do it, I just don't have the patience and hence the luck.
