Great capture as usual Bobo. I can't offer anything up except admiration.

Well done Bobo, I remember them from when I lived in New Hampshire.

    Thanks Bob, Joe.

Yes quite cute little things. Very agile and difficult to catch.

Hi Bobo, much prefer the second one, previously the foreground was too much for me and lighting the image up a bit has given the eye more punch. Good shot - I think I could identify a Black-capped Chikadee in the field from the image. What other members of the Chikadee family are in your area?

Bobo, Nice photos. I was out yesterday morning photographing some here in Jackson Hole. It was -9 degrees F. :-) burr. I assume your photo was taken in Ontario. The coloration of our two birds are very similar. In a month or so they should molt to their summer plumage. Would be fun to compare them then. I have some idea of how difficult it is to get the little guys to hold still.
Looking forward to more of your photos.

Thanks Clive - I am not sure about the other members, these seem to have invaded every tree around these parts.

Thanks Chuck - no you don't want to see their summer clothing. They will become scrawny little things and not as cute as the fluffy ball that they are with their winter feathers.

In summer they will be like this.
