    Mum's Neighbours

My Mother has moved into a new home and out the back of her house is beautiful untouched bushland. These gorgeous little Wallabies like to get quite close and came within 20feet of her back garden. As you can see from the first shot, they look quite relaxed. I didnt really have much time to take these shots, I was trying to be 'wery wery qwiet' (as Elmer Fudd would say) LOL, I didnt want to scare them of and I didnt want to alert my children to the fact that they were so close, 'until' I'd managed to get some photos. You can see, they get a little nervous, after my kids found me

They're all good, but, boy, have you nailed it with this.

That's got to be about as good as it gets. Wonderful bit of photography.

    Hi Kerry,

The first looks soft, but I think you didn't downsize and sharpen before uploading to TinyPic, which means we'll always see it in far less than ideal circumstances.

The second is great, as Donald says.

On the third, I'd clone out the wire in the background.

    Cheers,

WOW, Kerry! You sure can pick'em!

The second shot is absolutely stunning!

Because I love to experiment, I would try a little eye retouching to see if I could get just a bit of brightness and sparkle. There are post processing tutorials available specifically for brown eyes if you think you might like to give it a try.

Thanks Dave, the first I was bit hesitant to post, but I just loved his laid back attitude - he is out of focus, I took this one whilst kind of hanging over Mums fence LOL....so he is a bit too soft I think I have the luminence and clarity up too much.

Thanks Frank - I'll give that a go

Here's a few more of the same ones from my camera. I was unfortunately stuck with the Tokina which is very soft at full zoom and doesn't have the reach as Kerry's 55-300 so they're not great photos.

You know, I actually have one that looks like it's winking at me but it looks so weird that I didn't post it
