    Took this at work today. I was trying for the male as well but he was rather weary.

    Really good shot.

    Having an interesting in birds I thought I'd try to identify it . I thought waders were difficult but I'm stumped.

    A female Anna's hummingbird or Rufous hummingbird? Am I anywhere near?

    Bobo, thank you. It would help maybe if I did not somehow add an e. Wary....very watchful of danger, keen caution.

    Yes Dave a female Anna, the male stayed just out of reach. We have the Rufous as well but they are less colorful.

    Mike, thanks. No they sure don't stick around and when they go it is super fast.
