    Hi Ajith,

    Great shots, Ajith!
Where is the halo around the main poles coming from? And are these colors real or should I say how much did you adjust them in PP?

    Thanks.

The last picture is very nice. I felt that the first picture is a bit over saturated.

    Hi Sedali,

I am guessing this is the floodlighting from the towers reflected off the bottom of a low and fairly thick cloud base. I've never been there, but from what I've seen on TV, SF bay area does seem prone to atmospheric conditions that are rare elsewhere.

    Hi Ajith,

Nice shots, I prefer the bridge to the city, if only to marvel at the clouds/sky lit up!
Of the 3 'same' bridge pics, I think I like the colours of #3 but the 'horizon' angle of #1.
    I know - I'm fussy

You should get bored more often and share the results! thanks

    Cheers both,

All long exposures varying from 8 sec to 30 sec, aperture f/5+ to f/20, Manual mode. No PS manipulations.

Thanks sedali, The info I have about the lights are similar to Dave's detailed explanation

    Thanks Dave for covering me
I too have the same preference on the pics as you said , one for the angle and one for the color.

Sure Dave I will get more bored from now

No1 and No4 are stunning images. I would be very pleased with myself if I were you, Do you use ND filter for these shots?

I must be one of the few tourists to fly into San Francisco and drive straight out again to Half Moon Bay...not much of a townie I am afraid. Next time I will spend a couple of days in the city.

    Thanks Wirefox.
No, Filter was not used during the shot, it was taken from 8.45 PM to 9.25 PM so it was dark and filters were not needed.

Yes you should try the same shot when you are here next time
