    Butterfly at Martin Mere

One of my favorite photographs taken at Martin Mere in Lancashire at couple of years ago.

I love the colors. I find my eye wandering to the flower bulb on the left though. Maybe a crop of the left and bottom with a slight touch of vignette to draw your eye to the butterfly since the background is a bit busy.

Don't crop too excessively though, Judith. I think I would consider changing the width/height ratio so as to retain the full flower head, and about half the stem.

Thanks for your advice. Have done as you suggested and it does look good. I also played around and inverted the colours which had an amazing effect!
